Combustion and Energy
Combustion and energy encompasses a variety of process where fuel gases, solid particles or small liquid drops chemically react with other molecules to release energy. It is generally desirable to optimize the fuel combustion so that all the fuel is used and production of harmful particles (e.g. smoke) is avoided.
Proper design and optimization of a combustion system leads to higher efficiency, reduced fouling and improved health and environment.
